MAYBE

A credible local-first AI agent workspace, but not yet a proven business.

What is OpenBot?

OpenBot is a free local-first desktop app that turns multiple coding AI agents into a persistent, message-passing team on the user's own machine. It connects to the AI plans users already pay for, including Codex, Claude Code, Gemini, Grok, OpenCode, Cursor and Cline, and keeps workspaces, conversations, files and browser data on the local computer. It adds a built-in browser, task queue, plugin marketplace and provider-agnostic agent identities. Monetization is unclear today, but the site hints at hosted servers and a noncommercial source license with separate commercial licensing.
